Massage is not only a feel-good way to indulge or pamper oneself, but its also an important tool to help keep injuries at bay. One does not have to look far at many articles, studies and reviews showing massage can assist with pain reduction, recovery and stress management.
What is an Intuitive Massage? Simply put, the therapist has the skill set and knowledge for manual therapy but also uses touch/vision and your non-verbal feedback to deliver a more complete experience.

With around 75 different muscles – Our face is a complex and crowded anatomical structure. Often there is a tendency towards hypertone (excessive) than hypotone (lacking), facial muscles have the inclination towards accumulating tension with charged emotions. Just like stress results in tight shoulders – our face also harbors tightness which can result in the appearance of looking older/tired/dehydrated skin. Note: This treatment has an oral component where the therapist (using gloves) massages the deeper muscles with either the index finger or thumb inside clients’ mouth.

Stretch Therapy
The Stretch Therapy treats the whole person, not just a specific body part. This pain-free method uses gentle, continuous movements to decompress joints and create space in the soft tissues. Besides improving range of motion, enhances smooth movement (kinesthesia) and improves posture awareness (proprioception).
Ultimately, it leaves individuals feeling a profound sense of wellbeing, confidence, and ease, marking a pivotal point in personal and professional growth.

Cupping (Body)
Cupping therapy dates back to ancient civilizations of the Eastern and Western worlds. It has many amazing benefits and is a fabulous tool used for massage to soften the superficial tightness that therapists struggle to release. This negative pressure therapy results in treatment longevity, better results and a deeper healing.
*Important Note: clients MUST be very well hydrated before treatment. Avoid consumption of alcohol for 48hrs pre and post treatment. Clients can experience prolonged physical discomfort – warm showers/baths, stretching, hydrating is highly advised. You MUST clear a month following any vaccinations and feel reasonably well for this therapy.
We hold our ‘issues in our tissues’ – therefore its not unusual to experience strong emotion release with cupping therapy. Plan a day of R&R on the day and maybe the following one too.

Gua Sha (Body)
Dating as far back as the Ming Dynasty: Gua means to rub/scrape and Sha is another word for the Qi energy often used in Traditional Chinese medicine. One is likely to find a ‘gua sha’ tool in the medicine cabinet of a Chinese household but often a coin or ceramic spoon was used instead. Its use was far more profound in the past than it is today but it is slowly being introduced to more healing modalities. The scraping can often leave redness similar to cupping or a superficial bruise (that heals much faster than trauma bruising) and it brings about a positive result physically and energetically.
